HOW TO: Make the Best Tofu Scramble Using Daiya “Cheddar”

Hey guys! It’s Mali, I hope that everyone is doing well. I have been super busy with trying to get my YouTube channel up and running, so I apologize for the lack of posts. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel as well, Chatterboxmali. Anyways, today I am going to share my tofu scramble recipe! This is one of my favorite breakfasts to eat, and it is soooo easy. Let’s get started.



The first thing you want to do is saute up some red onions, I use a little bit of olive oil for this. I accidentally poured a bit too much today, but oh well!



Add in the tofu! I like to add in the tofu after about 2-3 minutes. I like it to be a little crispy, so I cook it longer than most recipes may tell you to. It is just personal preference, but I usually let it cook for about 7 minutes before I add in anything else.



Two parts to this step! First, add your seasonings of choice. I used curry powder, paprika, and coriander. I usually switch it up between whatever flavors I am feeling that day! I also love using taco seasoning and chili powder! Second step, add your veggies! Today I just had kale and tomatoes. I love kale so, so, so, so much! Comment your favorite veggie below!



This is my secret ingredient! I love Daiya cheese, it is just so freaking yummy. I add this to the scramble, and then cover my pan and put the heat on low. I usually give it about 5 minutes, and then I stir everything together, and it makes this awesome cheesy scramble! This takes my tofu scramble to the next level.



Slice up some avocado and enjoy! This is such a tasty breakfast, and it really is simple.
